Hello Ola! Granola (Giveaway)

I'm not a big snacker. However, when I do snack, I prefer healthier alternatives to fried chips. After discovering the wonders and versatility of granola, I was hooked. There's so many different flavors of granola, it can be both thrilling and overwhelming to pick a favorite. For me, anything with nuts is a definite must try.

We received the Vanilla Almond, Cranberry Orange Pecan, and No Nut Vanilla from Ola! Granola to review on this blog. These were so fun to eat and play around with. Most of the time, I just eat granola as a topping on, well, most anything. For this review, I decided to make my own granola bar. The Vanilla Almond was my choice for the base, and it was perfect. In addition to Ola! Granola, I also used hemp seeds, dried cranberries, mini chocolate chips, and agave to make my bar (recipe to follow).

These are dangerously delicious. You really have to be conscious not to finish the entire bag in one sitting. Although it's made with all natural ingredients and is relatively low in calories and fat, the entire bag runs almost 1,000 calories. Anything in moderation is the way to go.

A little about Ola! Granola

Growing up in a family of eight, Dina Houser enjoyed her mom’s healthy, homemade, great-tasting granola.  Carefully fine-tuning her family’s recipe – using whole grains, nuts, and pure maple syrup – Dina’s hand-baked granola quickly became everyone’s favorite ready-to-go breakfast, snack and topping. After years of being urged to make her granola available to food lovers everywhere, her son’s second grade teacher asked Dina where he could purchase it.  It was then she decided to fulfill her dream of making it for the world to enjoy.  Ola! was born.
