MY THOUGHTS
Design
In the past, it's been difficult to find eco-friendly toilet bowl cleaners with an angled spout or one that isn't powder. It's the only reason I haven't switch to green toilet bowl cleaners but use other eco-friendly household cleaners. I was so glad to have found Ecover® for precisely this product. In addition to this feature, it is made with plant-base surfactants that is harmless to aquatic life and packaged in a plantplastic made of sugarcane (how innovative!). There is a faint smell, but nothing irritating. I like that the liquid is thick (psychologically it makes me think that a thicker coating works better even if it doesn't) but is easy to spread.
Performance
This eco-friendly toilet bowl cleaner did the job, and it did it well. Performance is the main thing I look for when deciding to switch from a conventional cleaner to one that is eco-friendly. If the eco-friendly alternative doesn't do what a conventional cleaner does, I look for another brand or abandon the idea until a worthy product comes to the market. I no longer have to look for an eco-friendly toilet bowl cleaner because I found one that works just as well as a conventional cleaner, and is not harmful to my family and the environment.
Price
Although a little pricey at $4.06, compared to non-green and other eco-friendly toilet bowl cleaners, it definitely is a good value. It is formulated so that you don't need to use a lot to get the job done, so a bottle can last you a while.
Safety
We have not had any safety issues with this product.
