Introducing Corelle's® New Boutique™ Line (Giveaway)

Credit: Biz Urban
I grew up eating off Corelle® plates. Apparently, my mom was introduced to the brand by my grandmother who started using it since it came to the Philippines in the '70s. My mom said that the reason she loves them is because they are so durable. In fact, she has only lost one or two plates from her set because they are practically unbreakable. I asked her why she only bought white round plates - despite the fact that there is an array of colorful patterns - and she said that designs come and go but white is classic. Good point.

A few weeks ago, I attended an event to launch Corelle's® new Boutique™ line so I can share with my readers. The new line showcases two gorgeous designs: Cherish and Swept. These are two distinct, but equally, elegant designs. Cherish is more romantic, with embossed flowers. Swept is simpler, yet refined, with it's sculptured waves. Both designs are modern and will give any table a touch of sophistication.

During the event, we watched how Corelle® plates were made. I was impressed to find out that the dinnerware is made with 90% reclaimed materials. These materials are recycled in their own manufacturing plant. Pretty cool. Not only are these plates made with glass, but they last forever, minimizing the need to purchase new ones. Their durability also ensures that they won't be littering the landfill.

It was really hard for me to choose which design I liked more. On the one hand, I never had square plates before so Cherish would have been a perfect addition to my dinnerware collection. On the other hand, my husband didn't want to eat off flowers. At the end of the day, I was happy with my choice of Swept. It really is more my style.

As my sister is getting married at the end of the year, I immediately told her about the line. The Boutique™ line can fit any household and would be a great addition to a bridal registry. Both designs are available in a 16 piece box set and open stock. One of the reasons I chose the Swept design is because of the 28 ounce wide rimmed soup/salad bowl (pictured above). I love that bowl. Each design has accompaniment pieces to complement the set. Cherish will be coming out with a mini serving tray, of sorts, in winter. It's chic and quite charming. I also mentioned that Corelle® is having an awesome giveaway for brides. That's right ladies, you can win your entire registry.
