I received the Goddess Nightie in aqua blue to review. As a second-time breastfeeding mom, I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to review this product. It has become one of my favorite must-have items for breastfeeding mothers. I love it. In fact, I think nursing moms should have 2 of them; a spare for when 1 is in the laundry. What about it makes this a favorite? First, the material is good quality. After many, many washes, the nightgown maintains its size and shape. Stains also just wash right off, keeping the gown looking new. The cotton feels soft against the skin and I love that it stretches.
Second, the style is perfect for a woman who has just given birth. The empire waist does a great job at hiding my post-partum belly. In fact, the A-line cut pretty much takes care of hiding anything below the chest area. The dress is true to size, so no worries about fit when ordering. I used my pre-pregnancy size to order and it fits quite nicely. The Goddess Nightie is great for nursing in the middle of the night. It has made breastfeeding, when I am sleep-deprived, so easy. I just pull the top to the side and nurse. There are no latches, snaps, or hooks to deal with. The price point of $33.95 is totally worth it. I have worn this gown's worth, every penny of it. If you are nursing or have a friend who is nursing, I highly recommend this product.
