Manzanita Wheel - HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE

David and Adrienne run Manzanita Kids from their cottage in Seattle. Manzanita Kids specializes in wooden toys designed to nurture creative play. Made with natural materials like birch, walnut, and homemade local beeswax/organic safflower oil, the toys are beautifully handcrafted to meet children's developmental milestones. Parents themselves, David and Adrienne understand the needs of children and created products that are stylish, fun, and safe. They believe in offering unique attractive toys that children not only gravitate to but that enrich their life.

About the Manzanita Wheel
Our wheel is a balancing toy, set of blocks, puzzle and tic-tac-toe in one set. As you put the blocks in the square opening, the wheel turns. You can try to roll the wheel across the floor or rock it back and forth, depending on how you place the blocks in the opening. This is an all-ages toy. The blocks are sized so that small hands can grasp them and stack them easily. It's fascinating for all ages of children to experiment with how to control the movement of the wheel by balancing the blocks inside it. Little ones can turn the wheel on its side and place the blocks inside the square opening as a puzzle or stack the blocks up. Older kids can take advantage of the contrast between the maple and walnut wood blocks and play tic-tac-toe in the square opening. All the pieces on this toy are sanded smooth, with rounded edges. +12 blocks, 6 walnut and 6 maple measures 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1 1/2"
