Design

I love wooden toys. I know my son probably doesn't care whether his toys are plastic, recycled, paper, or wooden, but I do. The E-Racer Suzuka has so many features that appeal to me like the fact that it's eco-friendly, being made from bamboo and water-based paints. I like how it looks, very sleek. I like that there are no bells and whistles, nothing that will continuously be heard throughout the house, nor does it require constant battery changes. This became an instant favorite as soon as I took it out of the box. Not just because my son loves anything with wheels and green is his favorite color, but because it's a really nice toy. The size is just perfect for my son, too.

Durability
Wooden toys do seem to last longer in our household than plastic ones. My husband told me that as soon as my son opens a toy, that it's one step closer to the toy's demise. Well, our wooden toys have really withstood the test of time. This is one is no exception; it's incredibly well built. My son isn't too hard on his toys, just typical 3 1/2 year old boy handling. This car has been loved and played with a lot since he received it and so far, it's still intact.

Functionality

His imagination is fueled by this car. I love hearing my son make his own sound effects and the adventures his car goes on. This toy occupies him for a long time; another reason why I like it.

Price
The original price is $20, but it is currently on sale for $16.25. Either price is a good value for a well-designed, award-winning wooden toy. I suggest grabbing a few of these for your nieces and nephews who are car aficionados for the holidays.
