MY THOUGHTS

Presentation 

I've never gotten a gift basket before so I was very excited to review this one. If a gift basket is meant to make you smile, then this one certainly put one on my face. The basket came neatly packaged with enough stuffing to ensure that none of the items would get crushed or broken. It was quite festive with the red, green, and gold ribbon and other holiday decorations. The basket was sturdy, not something cheap and disposable. I think that anyone who purchased this basket as a gift would be pleased at the quality of the product they paid for. 

Taste

My husband and I both agree that the food items that came in the basket were very thoughtful - offering a variety of products and complementary flavors. We are big fans of nuts in this house so we were excited about trying each item. Taste is certainly variable for each individual, but my husband and I enjoyed each of the items; some more than others. The biscuit, cookies, and chocolates tasted fresh, not that I've-been-sitting-on-the-shelf stale taste. The pretzels were nice and crunchy with just the right amount of salt. The pretzel dip was really good, but a bit too sweet for me, so I just used less of it. Really, everything was delicious and we enjoyed them while they lasted.

Price

I've never given a gift basket as a gift before either, so I can't really compare prices. However, given the accolades and buzz surrounding Gourmet Gift Basket products, I'm guessing that their products are competitively priced.

We have not had any safety issues with this product.
