REVIEW: Little Green Books

I would like to introduce another awesome April Showers sponsor, Little Green Books. A review of their children's books will be posted soon.

Simon and Schuster

Eco-friendly books that are 100% recyclable

Recycled materials, vegetable or soy based inks

Made In
US, China

$3.99 - $7.99

I love that these books are made from recycled material. You really can't tell the difference in how they feel from books made with new materials. I love that the back cover of each book has a "Did you know" fun fact about the book topic. I love the message in these books.

So far, so good.

These books are a good way to teach children (and adults) about taking care of the Earth. I thought the Adventures books would be a little too mature for my 3 year old, but he has asked me to read them several times. He seems to understand the plot and asks questions while I'm reading. He especially likes the book "What Do You See?" and loves lifting the flaps. All books are engaging and educational.

I think the price is a good value. Items made from recycled materials are almost always more expensive than items made from new materials. However, the lessons and values imparted by these books are worth the cost.

We have not had any safety issues with these products.

Disclaimer: I was not compensated for this post. I received a sample of the products for review purposes. The opinions expressed in this post are solely mine. I was under no obligation to provide a positive review. I received permission from the sponsor to post their trademarked brand/logo on my blog.
