I am working with Mimi's Cafe to introduce it's Power of Pink campaign. Mimi's Cafe is partnering with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) this month to create and spread awareness for breast cancer. For the entire month of October, all 145 location will display a Giving Tree. Guests who donate $1 will be given a leaf to inscribe to put on the tree, and for $5, they receive a limited-edition pink ribbon lapel pin. In return, Mimi's Cafe will provide up to $30 in coupons for those making an in-store donation. If you can't make it to a restaurant, you can still support the campaign through eGift Card donations and digital donations to the Giving Tree. All proceeds will go to the NBCF.
A little about Mimi's Cafe and the National Breast Cancer Foundation
Inspired by his visit to France, and with a passion for food, Arthur J. Simms opened the first Mimi's Cafe in 1978. Today, the French-inspired neighborhood bistro is owned by Bob Evans Farms, Inc. There are 145 locations in 24 states that offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Recognized as one of the leading breast cancer organizations in the world, the National Breast Cancer Foundation's (NBCF) mission is to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need. A recipient of Charity Navigator's highest 4-star rating for eight years, NBCF provides women "Help for Today...Hope for Tomorrow®" through its National Mammography Program, Beyond The Shock®, Early Detection Plan, MyNBCF online support community, and breast cancer research programs.
