REVIEW: Table Toppers

As a new parent, I am overwhelmed with the amount of products available on the market for babies and children. In addition to keeping children healthy and safe, I had to consider about what products to buy; it's performance, safety, etc, etc.. It still makes my head spin...though not always in a bad way. Through my research, I found a product that I wish I found sooner. The innovative design of this placemat gives peace of mind to parents concerned about protecting their children from germs while eating out.

Neat Solutions® is a family owned business which manufactures disposable products for babies and toddlers. Mompreneur Beth wanted to find a solution to flying placemats and dirty restaurant table tops, so the table topper® was born.

I love that the product is thin, lightweight, and compact; barely taking up any space in my purse. The design is printed on the underside, so ink doesn't touch the food. It is also biodegradable. That is definitely a plus.

Although the table topper® is made as a one-time use disposable product, it is durable and can be used again.

I love the table topper®. The first time I saw it was during lunch at Chic-fil-A®. I thought, what a great idea. This would have been so useful when my son was first learning to eat. It's still useful now, even at 3. The adhesive sticks to a variety of surfaces: cloth, glass, Corian®-type surface, and plastic. It prevents the placemat from being thrown about and flying. I also don't have to worry if he picks up and eats food that drops from his spoon or plate onto the table. The table topper® was especially useful when we were eating on a table at an outdoor cafe.

Neat and compact in a plastic container.

At about $0.55 a piece, these are worth the peace of mind and convenience.

We have not had any safety issues with this product. It is manufactured BPA, PVC, and phthalate-free.
