As you can see, everything is carefully packaged for transport. The turkey is nestled in tin containers and then wrapped in foil. All side dishes, rolls, and pie also come in disposable containers. Upon opening the box, the containers were all warm. This was very good since it was dinner time and I had no time to warm anything up.

The traditional dinner was enjoyed by everyone, from grandma to Little B (he only got to eat the mashed potatoes). We each had our favorite dish(es). My favorites were the turkey, yams, and butter pickles. Okay, I have never had butter pickles before and I just could not stop eating them. It was my first time and to be honest, I didn't know that these were part of a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
It was such a pleasure to see everyone devour the meal. Everyone had seconds and thirds, but who's counting. Like me, everyone enjoyed the turkey. Flavorful, tender, well-seasoned, were just some of the words used to described it. I couldn't tell you exactly how much it weighed, but I can say that it was enough for four adults and three kids and plenty for left over.
Of course, no Thanksgiving meal would be complete without pie. Oh the pie! The filling was just sweet enough and the spices were not overwhelming each other. It was creamy, it was delicious, and you couldn't have just one piece.
